There could be various reasons the program might crash or lockup (freeze) during normal operation. Depending on the amount of resources on your computer or server, there's the chance the database size has reached a threshold where it degrades program performance. The size of the job list has a direct affect on the size of the database. As jobs accumulate, there are some simple maintenance processes one can perform to improve program performance. If program crashing and/or lockups still occur, program settings for showing extension totals in the audit trail may be the culprit. Below is a help video showing how to disable this setting.

After trying all of this, if there are still performance and/or lockup issues, you may need to check your system for any type of "live scan" events (i.e. anti-virus scans) that are occurring on the EBM program files during program use. Below is a help video that explains this further.
